Courtney Jade Davis Memorial Scholarship (please see Ms. Abshier or Naviance for an application)
Awards ranging from $100.00 to $1000.00. Requirements/Criteria: 1) Minimum GPA of 2.0 2)Volunteer – Must have helped people or animals(Give as many examples as possible) 3)Positive Role Model – Being an inspiration and role model to others. Examples: Being Friendly, Helpful, and Congenial and willing to try new things and to encourage others to excel. 4)Tenacity and Perseverance – Positive outlook, don’t give up. Do the best you can. 5)Personal Characteristics – Being brave in the face of adversity. Leadership. Include and encourage others to get along. Note: Give specific examples of numbers 2-5 where you have been a role model and/or volunteered service. In the memory of Jack and Maxine Allen, an annual scholarship is established for a Cloverdale High School graduate pursing further education.
A selection committee will determine an applicant’s eligibility based on the individual’s financial need and displayed potential to complete a higher education program. Academic achievement in one criterion for determining the individual’s potential, but not the primary factor for determining the recipient. Eligibility criteria for the scholarship is: 1) Graduate or graduating senior of Cloverdale High School, and
2) An expressed interest in pursuing further education leading to a degree or certificate, and 3) Active in the community and/or extra-curricular school activities demonstrated by letters of recommendation from a community leader or school staff member, and 4) A demonstrated potential to fulfill the expressed career interests, either from personal knowledge of the selection committee or from recommendations submitted by community/school leaders, and 5) The need of financial assistance to achieve the individual’s potential. The Men’s Garden Club of Santa Rosa will offer Scholarships to high school graduates of
Sonoma County schools for the upcoming 2019-2020 college year. Individual
scholarships of $500 to $1,000 will be awarded. The scholarships will be made available
when the selected applicant enrolls full time (12 credit hours) in a college or university as
evidenced by submitting a copy of their class schedule. Former recipients currently

Scholarships: there will be up to 4 scholarships given this year to 4 student athletes (2 female/ 2 male)
Eligibility: to be eligible for consideration, a nominee must: currently be enrolled at CHS as a senior in good standing and a candidate for graduation; currently earning a cumulative GPA (grade 9-12) of 3.0 or higher at the end of 1st semester of senior year; have participated in a varsity sport; and enroll in and begin study at a 2 or 4-year college within one year of graduating from CHS.

Green Thumb Garden Club Scholarship
Do you know someone who is planning to attend Santa Rosa Junior College this fall? Green Thumb Garden Club is offering two scholarships of $500 each to Cloverdale students meeting the following criteria: 1) 2.0 minimum GPA; 2) Graduating CHS student or continuing SRJC student or transferring student from SRJC to a four-year college; 3) full or part-time student (carrying 6 units or more), pursuing any major. The student must be a Cloverdale resident. Important: The deadline to apply for these scholarships is March 1st. The 10,000 Degrees Undergraduate Scholarships application opens every year on October 1st and must be postmarked by March 2nd of the following year. No late submissions will be considered for funding. It is your responsibility to respond to all requests for information in a timely manner. All applications must be submitted online, and some scholarships require additional documents, so please read directions carefully to ensure you submit everything required. NOTE: By submitting the 10,000 Degrees Undergraduate Scholarships application, students automatically apply to ALL available undergraduate scholarships currently administered through 10,000 Degrees. Here is the current list of undergraduate scholarship partners. BASIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Students must provide information showing financial need. Students must be enrolled in a program leading to his/her first Associate?s degree, Bachelor?s degree, or teaching credential during the current academic year. Students must be enrolled in an average of 12 academic units per term during the 2018-19 academic year (or full-time as designated by school).
